Storyteller
Over the course of the last four years, Wladimir has created a network of charities, entrepreneurs, leaders, local communities, traders and experts in different sectors. He has developed written pieces, radio interviews, podcast episodes, short form of video documentary, and social media posts telling the stories of those who are part of his growing network. You can find example of his craft on his social media channels, blogs articles and online exhibitions.

The adoption and the integration of ChatGPT across various industries has demonstrated the potential of Generative Artificial Intelligence to produce audio, text and video quicker than ever. A storyteller needs to demonstrate the value and benefits of their role in the current context. Wladimir gets out there, talks to people on the street, get in contact with expert voices, and shape the story of people and organisations into a Youtube video, a SoundCloud audio, a blog article or a webpage. Each of Wladimir’s productions follow to the UK current policies and laws influencing the Broadcast and Journalism Industry.
Wladimir has experience working with short deadlines and quick turn arounds as part of his training. On a busy day, he identifies news stories, travels to recording location, contact to experts in the field, interviews people on the street, write scripts on-the-go, edit video or audio on a smartphone, collaborate remotely with the newsroom and occupies various technical roles in the radio and tv studio. Most of his video productions on YouTube were produced in 2-3 hours time.

His multimedia production includes a podcast episode exploring Latin Dancing in London, an investigative audio about the recognition of Latin American as ethnicity and a photo essay depicting immigrants first steps towards integration in London.

He has contacted and interviewed organisations creating green initiatives in West London. The Green Project Shepherd Bush is a community-led project that regenerates green corners and provides gardening activities for neighbours and visitors. The Ealing Repair Café creates workshop to teach people mending techniques to upcycle their clothes instead of buying new ones. The Ealing Beaver Project introduced beavers in London to reduce flooding risk, restore ecosystems and help people to connect with nature.
FROM THE BLOG
Mobile Documentarist
People can tell stories in multiple ways. Wladimir finds himself comfortable telling stories in video format. He likes to be involved in the whole process of production of a video artefact. This includes reaching out to people and organisations, researching themes and set a list of questions, carrying around recording toolkit, connecting with people, filming b-roll clips, listening to people’s stories, mixing up multimedia elements (text, audio, clips and pictures) and sharing the final outcome with the audience. Wladimir knows that being a documentarist requires an understanding of the creative industries workflow: pre-production, production and post-production.
One of Wladimir’s biggest passions and incentive is video documentary. A documentary has the power to convey multiple information points within one clip or one image. The video editor needs to be capable of mixing people’s ideas, clips of places and objects, ambient sounds and data into one coherent piece. Documentaries can be short or long format. Regardless, each production must balance storyline integrity, organisation identity, policies and regulations, journalistic ethics and audience’s information needs.
On Youtube and TikTok, you can explore the different formats and themes included in Wladimir’s Documentary portfolio. Most of the videos have been edited using Adobe Premier and CapCut Mobile App.
