The summer days in London a famous because they are like tickets for a Beyonce concert. They go quick! We have created a list of places that you can visit this summer 2023.

The several lockdowns that took place during the pandemic encouraged people to stay at home watching Netflix, watering plants and feeding lovable pets. The UK population endured three national lockdowns for over a year (Winter 2020 to Summer 2021), and that was enough to forget the beautiful places that London has to offer.

The lockdown day are long gone, but the habit of going out and enjoy the fresh air and the green grass are still catching up with the pace of pre-pandemic times. People are are travelling local visiting places that are near their home. It feels like travelling to another country when errands and duties force someone to take the tube to the other side of the city.

1. Battersea Power Station

First! Battersea Park Station. Free access, various retail options and a lovely riverside. It is a good place to start rediscovering London. The shopping area is near Battersea Park, full of green areas, people exercising and the London Peace Pagoda. You can find more information on the website of the iconic power station.

2. Mudchute Park

You are in the chase of Green space. Mudchute Park and Farm give Green vibes and farm animals. You can feed them! Just make sure you check the guide for visitors. 3. Primrose Hill

Are you looking for nice views but embracing your fear of heights? I got you! Primrose Hill gives you nature, views and a walk to the iconic Camden Town. Primrose Hills is part of the eight Royal Parks in the city of London. You can even decide to visit all the Royal Parks this summer. 4. Elephant and Castle

Fancy a Getaway, but your budget and the cost of living do not permit it! Say no more! Elephant and Castle transport you to the lively and warm corner of South America. 5. The Shard

6. Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

You are so ready to go out for a run somewhere different to your local park! Have you visited the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park? Get on the Central line and get off at Stratford, grab a drink, warm up and run! Alternatively, you can find all the activities and venues open to the public on the website of the park.

7. Rengent’s Canal

Tranquillity is the best remedy after a busy week of work. Enjoy a walk alongside the Regent’s Canal, see people cycling and running and let your thoughts to dissipate on the ripples of the canal! It is recommended to start to walk from Granary Square near King’s Cross station. You can grab a drink from any of the available shops or stand at the Coal Drop Yard Shopping Centre. 8. Kew Gardens

One day won’t be enough to visit this botanic garden—nice food, nice view, family-friendly and plenty of paths to get lost quite literally. Do not worry! You will find your way eventually. It is advisable to membership if you are planning to visit the place a few times during a year. The membership includes a 10% discount in the shops and a free adult ticket for one companion.
